Micheal Quinn is a life saver. He is passionate about helping out students and his kindness made for a really comfortable learning environment. He answered every question and never made me feel bad about not knowing something. I wish I started attending his sessions earlier in the year! I 100% recommend attending the zooms and also completing the practice exams. They were an essential part of my studying for exams and it definitely helped me. Also, the concept guides were amazing. He is a talented teacher because he communicated difficult topics in a simple way. He helped the information "click" in my head. I am so appreciative to have Micheal Quinn, I don't even want to imagine what my chem grade would have been without him. In our eyes, MQ is at God status. Thank you Micheal Quinn!

Mike Quinn got me through chem 101 and was a huge reason I was able to get an A in the class. His weekly review sessions and practice tests were key to my studying every week. Through Mike, I was able to gain more practice with problems which helped ingrain the concepts into my brain making my recall concepts faster on quiz nights.

Very good tutor and helped a lot, went above and beyond for the students success. Highly recommend!!

The group sessions where you walked through all the discussion worksheets were extremely helpful as I was able to gauge a step by step understanding as to how and why certain steps were done. The concept sheet and review sessions before the final we’re also really valuable and simplified my revision since the chapters were condensed into only the most pertinent concepts

Your review sessions were super helpful in reinforcing concepts from lecture. I also found practice quizzes very helpful because we were able to have a better understanding of high yield topics. Overall, I think the review sessions were really helpful and through and by the end of the night any confusions I had would be resolved and I would feel much more confident with the material.

I found all of the review sessions to be extremely helpful, for both CH101 and CH102 - I really liked how you broke down all of the concepts by explaining them with pictures/diagrams and also how you added in your own methods of understanding/studying certain topics like titrations and the beaker problems. I also really appreciated how you went over the discussion questions every week and really took the time to explain how to go through them step by step. The concept guides that you made were also very helpful because it showed most of the information to focus on for that specific section/quiz.

I am extremely thankful that Michael Quinn hosted this bootcamp. Since I have not taken a chemistry course in over 2 years, I was initially very concerned about my ability to succeed in CH101 as an incoming freshman, but this bootcamp reinforced my chemistry foundations so that I am prepped for success in the fall. I really appreciated how there were 2 time slots to accommodate different time slots, and Michael Quinn answered any and all questions during the sessions. Since all sessions were recorded, I was able to go back to the lessons at my leisure and review for the quizzes. Overall, I feel more confident in the coming semester and am grateful for this opportunity. Thank you

I thought the sessions were really helpful! I enjoyed the reviews and thought the tips and tricks you gave on the concepts, especially Lewis structures, were super useful. I liked how you organized everything using google docs making it convenient for us to access them.

I feel like attending the gen-chem bootcamp was really helpful for me. I feel like I got a refresher on most concepts and some new topics that I will be learning in my general chemistry class this fall. I felt much more confident in my chemistry skills after attending the sessions. I found the worksheets and practice quizzes really helpful to get more practice on topics I found more challenging.

This bootcamp was super helpful to me, in terms of review from what I learned last year, and covering some of the trickier concepts to come! I really liked the pace that it went at, and your explanations when explaining some of the harder concepts were detailed enough that I had a good understanding by the end of it.

This was exactly what I needed to feel more comfortable going into my freshman year. I haven't taken chemistry since my freshman year of high school, so I was nervous to take Chem 101. This bootcamp was perfectly paced and not too overwhelming. Being able to look back at the recordings, take quizzes, and participate in walk through worksheets made a huge difference in my confidence levels for the fall. Thank you so much (like actually)!!

My experience was amazing! I was so nervous to begin because I haven't taken chemistry since my sophomore year, and I forgot everything. But, with this bootcamp I feel more confident to tackle chem 101 in the incoming weeks. The lectures were always paced well and Mike is incredibly helpful/ receptive to questions.

I honestly loved the gen-chem bootcamp. It helped me remember material from my chem class sophomore year of high school and made me feel more secure going into a college chem class. I think your teaching style is very effective and you make your students comfortable asking questions and asking for help. I also appreciate that you offer us help throughout the year, saying we can reach out with questions.

This was a fantastic resource! I attended some sessions live and some I accessed the recordings, and I found both to be helpful. I liked the reference sheet for the quiz as I felt it focused the learning and prevented me from feeling like I needed to look things up. Overall this was a great experience!

Overall, I liked the overall loose nature of the entire boot-camp. During the duration of the entire bootcamp live sessions, I had work, so being able to watch the recordings during my breaks was convenient. I also liked how easy it was to follow the videos and how much practice was done.

I was really glad that I chose to join the bootcamp. It made me feel less nervous and more prepared for the fall semester. I liked the quizzes throughout the bootcamp. I already love chemistry but the camp made me more excited. Plus, you are truly a great teacher. I understood all the concepts even the ones that were confusing to me in AP Chem.
